Minutes of a Special Meeting
AUGUST 12, 2024
The Gloversville Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners met at a Special meeting that was held at Dubois Garden Apartments, 181 West Street, Gloversville NY on August 12, 2024 at 6:00p.m.
Board Members Present:
- Ellen Anadio, Commissioner
- Ronald Holly, Commissioner
- Gail Peters, Commissioner
- Imari Shaw, Commissioner
- Sherry Courtney, Resident Commissioner
Others Present:
- Kayla Potter – Executive Director
Commissioner Anadio called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. All present stood for the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence.
Commissioner Anadio conducted a roll call memorializing the presence of the above-named individuals.
A motion was made to go into Executive Session pursuant to Public Officers Law, Section 105(1)(f) relating to the medical, financial, credit or employment history of a particular person or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person or corporation, said motion having been made by Commissioner Shaw and seconded by Commissioner Peters. The motion carried by a vote of 5-0 in the affirmative. The executive session commenced at 6:01 p.m.
A motion was made at 6:21pm to end the executive session, said motion having been made by Commissioner Peters and seconded by Commissioner Holly. The motion carried by a vote of 5-0 in the affirmative. The executive session ended at 6:22 pm and public session resumed.
A motion was made to accept the performance evaluation of Executive Director Kayla Potter, said evaluation being “Excellent” and to set her salary in the $100,000.00 per year, effective immediately, said motion having been made by Peters and seconded by Commissioner Holly. The motion was carried by a vote of 5-0 in the affirmative.
